We Have The Power To Choose

The recipe for unhappiness is buying into the idea that we do not have a choice. Now whilst we do live in a world with many injustices that we may experience and not be responsible for, it is still within our power to choose how we wish to respond. Within every moment of our lives we have choices available to us, and by acknowledging these choices and acting on them, seeing the positive and long term effects these choices can have in our lives and the lives of those around us, really amplifies how how much power we do have. How much we can consciously and continuously contribute to the happiness of ourselves as well as the ones we love.
