Celebrating The Small Victories

When we imagine our dreams or what it is we’d like to achieve, whether that be within life or within ourselves, we often times imagine the end game, the result, the big victory. But just like with everything in life, every big achievement is made out of lots of little steps, little consistent choices, challenges, tasks and little victories. Rarely do we do one thing that brings us straight to the result. This may seem like stating the obvious, but the reason it’s important to remember is because we often only celebrate the end result, forgetting to celebrate the process. We often only feel we can be proud of ourselves once we’ve gotten to the end, but understanding that getting to the end consists of lots of little wins, reminds us that its actually of the upmost importance that we celebrate all the wins, all the victories and all the steps that lead us in the direction we are heading. Too often do we get disheartened along the way and choose to give up, because we forgot to celebrate or even notice all the incredible progress we are making. So celebrate the small victories, for it is consistent small victories that make up the big victory.
